Service has been restored.

While we are seeing still elevated error rates, some certificates are being provisioned successfully. When unable to start a sandbox environment due to certificate errors, try restarting it, as it might succeed the second time around.

We'll keep monitoring the situation.

We're currently seeing errors from our SSL provider Let's Encrypt, rendering us unable to provision new certificates. This affects all VMs that have the "Provision SSL Certficate" option enabled.
